Doctors are not friendly. GP consultation is about 2 minutes, they don´t even bother on examining you. You feel they really don´t care if you get better or not. I´ve tried with 3 different ones and same experience. I just come because of convenience. Recepcionist are OK, not very friendly...but anyway. Not a nice place to come at all.

N.B I have intentionally omitted the names of the staff involved to be courteous in this context. I also understand this review is not a reflection of a recent experience and therefore they should be given the benefit of the doubt however not exempted from accountability from past suboptimal conduct and seriously poor doctor-patient interactions.

Probably one of the best medical centres I've been to in the area, and have been going for about 5years. The receptionists are very good at their job (especially considering how busy they are), and the doctors not only seem highly experienced (they usually get the diagnosis and treatment right in the first go for me), but actually take the time to educate you, rather than just be sympathetic and shoo you out the door. Taking one star off because they have the rudest nurse (blonde ponytail) I've ever come across.

The receptionist(s) here are rude, arrogant and outright condescending.

Circumstances might have changed, including improved bedside manner of the medical team as this was circa.2005. I believe the specific doctor who was unsympathetic and arguably cruel to a young and scared person no longer works there. My assumption is it's probable that due to a lack of such an unpleasant personality type within the medical team, it could have improved the impression of the service provided. At least at the time of my study the practice did not have a good reputation, especially the doctor who I had an upsetting experience with.

Do not go to this medical centre if you're experiencing emotional distress from your medical condition.

I went to this medical practice when a uni student due to convenience of location and bulk billing services. Of the two doctors I saw, one had a nice temperament and came across sincere. The second was an older male doctor who was condescending and treated me as a drug seeker, despite a documented medical condition. This was very upsetting for a young person (in my instance having moved from interstate) as the patronising efforts of the male doctor influenced any further interaction with the initial female doctor whom I consulted and hence adversely affected my experience. I never went back to the University Health Service and opted to go to Church St Medical Centre (which I believe was a mixed billing service) where I was treated respectfully and supported as a young, unwell individual.

The doctors are professional and the receptionists are nice and respectful ! Especially when the patient is rude and they are still remain professional, highly recommended.
